d-allethrin
D-allethrin (d-cis,trans-allethrin, (+)-allethrin, (2-methyl-4-oxo-3-prop-2-enylcyclopent-2-en-1-yl)-(1R)-2,2-dimethyl-3-(2- methylprop-1-enyl)cyclopropane-1-carboxylate, CAS#584-79-2) is an ectoparasiticide. It consists of four of the eight stereosiomers of allethrin.
Uses
d-allethrin is the key product developed by KMCI with chemical and physical properties similar to d-allethrin and efficacy 1.1 times than that of d-Allethrin.
It is a potent contact insecticide which produces a rapid knockdown against household pests (housefly, mosquito, lice, roach) and parasites outside dog and cat, or formulated into spray agent against crawlers and fly insects on farm, milk houses and stall.
It has appropriate vapor pressure, ideal for mosquito coil, electric thermal mat and aerosol. The active ingredient dosage is recommended as follows.
Active ingredient content
Mosquito coil | High-grade | 0.30% |
Standard | 0.20% | |
Ordinary | 0.10% | |
Electric-thermal mat: | 40 mg/mat with central temperature of heater at 150-165℃ | |
Aerosol: | 0.1-0.2% active ingredients content in mixture with emulsifier synergist and lethal agent. |
